Courtney
Co-founder, Yoga Instructor
Courtney's path to co-founding Sterling Yoga Studio began when she learned that Sarah was ready to open a space, it was the spark she needed to move from dreaming to doing. Together, they partnered to bring Sterling Yoga Studio to life.
An athlete from a young age, Courtney played multiple sports, competed in college field hockey, and later took on road races, half-marathons, and the New York City Marathon. While working night shifts as a nurse, a friend brought her to her first yoga class – where she encountered movement in an entirely new way: centered on stillness, breath, and presence. With each class that followed, her appreciation deepened—not just for the practice itself, but for the teachers, studios, and spaces that held her through seasons of growth and change. It took discipline and time to truly understand the benefits, but she felt something in her soften and strengthen.
Yoga stayed with her: as a nurse, a student, a new mom and a working one. She most recently completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training at Hot Power Yoga Center in Worcester—where she and Sarah first met. With a background in medicine, Courtney honors the role of medical interventions when needed—but believes that healing and well-being must be addressed from a whole-being perspective. Yoga, for her, is both personal and practical: a grounding, breath-centered practice that soothes the nervous system and reconnects us to ourselves. In a world that urges us to run, spin, and do more, she sees yoga as a powerful invitation to pause.
Courtney teaches from the heart with an emphasis on presence, acceptance, and movement that gently brings you back to your breath, your body, and the quiet within – always there, even if it takes a moment to find.

Seana Brady
Yoga Instructor
Seana started practicing yoga following youtube videos in her room as a teenager. She spent her childhood as a dancer, so yoga felt like a natural progression. She found herself drawn to the spirituality and ethics of yoga and has been practicing wherever and whenever she can. She found that no other form of movement could settle her mind like a vinyasa flow.
Seana has always been interested in teaching, but finally took the leap and completed her YTT-200 at Hot Power Yoga Center in May of 2026. She appreciates all styles of yoga, but her passion is a power vinyasa flow. Seana hopes to bring yoga to as many people as possible and tries to carry the yamas with her throughout her day-to-day life.
Outside of yoga, Seana is a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at UMass. She loves to strength train, hike, hang out with loved ones, and travel.
