Menopause & Beyond: A Yoga-Informed Approach

  • Sterling Yoga Studio 153 Clinton Road Sterling, MA, 01564 United States (map)

Menopause marks the completion of the reproductive cycle and the beginning of a new hormonal phase. As estrogen levels naturally decline and the body adapts, many people experience changes in sleep, energy, bone density, metabolic health, and mood. This workshop offers a look at how yoga and targeted wellness strategies can support this stage of life.

Led by Courtney McDonald, FNP-BC, hormone and wellness nurse practitioner and RYT 200 hr, this session integrates clinical education with yoga-based movement designed to enhance bone strength, maintain mobility, and support healthy aging through menopause and beyond.

In this workshop, participants will:

Learn how hormone shifts impact bone health, cardiovascular health, metabolism, and sleep

Practice yoga sequences that support balance, core stability, joint mobility, and muscular strength

This workshop is appropriate for individuals currently in menopause or living in the post-menopausal years who want a clear, structured approach to supporting their health.
